Goat milk soap bar

The goat milk soap bar was a moot point. Should we go for it, or should we let it go? And there were several reasons. When goat milk is used, it automatically becomes a non-vegan product. Goat’s milk has a particular smell, and if I had to describe it, it is so sweet and bland.

But we decided to make them. Together with our goat milk bath salt, it is one of our customers’ favourite products to buy and return! And we are not surprised after all. We based this goat milk soap bar on goat milk to give it this creamy, luxurious feeling, and we stuffed it with colloidal oatmeal, which acts as a natural cleanser.

Goat milk soap bar benefits:

• Olive oil – skin moisturizer and nourisher, antioxidant properties, makes soap gentle and soft to use, helps to relieve dry skin
• Shea butter – feels luxurious and moisturizing on the skin, full of Vitamins A, E and F, reduces skin inflammation
• Coconut oil – moisturizing abilities, good cleansing properties, creates bubbles
• Cocoa butter – adds a luxurious and moisturizing feeling, is high in fatty acids, and helps to hydrate and nourish the skin
• Avocado oil – regenerative and moisturizing properties
• Apricot kernel oil – conditioning properties
• Castor oil – draws moisture to the skin
• Linseed oil – softens the skin and reduces redness
• Colloidal oatmeal – moisturizes and soothes the skin,
• Goat milk – anti-inflammatory and anti-ageing properties

Ingredients (INCI): Sodium Olivate (olive oil), Sodium Shea Butterate (shea butter), Sodium Cocoate (coconut oil), Sodium Cocoa Butterate (cocoa butter), Sodium Avocadate (avocado oil), Sodium Apricot Kernelate (apricot kernel oil), Sodium Castorate (castor oil), Linum Usitatissimum Seed oil (linseed oil), Glycerin, Whole Dry Goat Milk, Parfum, Avena Sativa Kernel Flour.

All goat milk soap bars are 100% hand-made. The ingredients are combined manually, poured into forms, cut and decorated by hand. Therefore, they may differ slightly in shape or colour. However, the recipe is the same for each batch and equally delicate, foamy and efficient.

Please note that it should be kept away from water between uses —best on a soap dish with holes or a strainer.

The white powder that you might see on the top of the soap is just soda ash, and it appears when the soap has contact with air and disappears after first use.
